Report illegal conduct and unacceptable behaviour at your organisation

You can complete an online report here

  • You can choose to remain anonymous, to identify yourself to ProAct Link only, or to identify yourself to both us and to your employer organisation
  • Where you provide contact details, a ProAct Link investigator will contact you to clarify information, and will be your contact ongoing regarding your report
  • We will keep your identity confidential and not identify you to your employer without your express permission
  • Identifying yourself to your employer will in most cases allow them to be better placed to investigate and respond to the conduct you are reporting
  • When you have completed and submitted your online report - you will be issued with a unique Report Number (RN)
  • Please keep this number secure and confidential as it is the identifier for you to use to identify yourself to ProAct Link investigators
  • Information provided is in some circumstances covered by relevant legislation that protects confidential information such as the Treasury Laws Amendment (Enhancing Whistleblower Protections) Act (Australia)

When making a report, to assist your employer to investigate and respond - please provide as much detail as possible, including:

  • The type of the conduct or unacceptable behaviour you are reporting
  • The details of the person who you know or believe committed the conduct, or unacceptable behaviour
  • When and where the conduct or unacceptable behaviour occurred
  • Any other relevant events surrounding the conduct or unacceptable behavior
  • The details of anyone else who you know or believe is involved in the conduct or unacceptable behavior
  • The details of anyone else who you know or believe is also aware of the conduct or unacceptable behaviour
  • If you did anything in response to the conduct or unacceptable behaviour - what you did and when
  • If you have reported the conduct or unacceptable behaviour internally
  • Any supporting information (e.g. documents, details of communications etc)

Anonymous reporting

  • You can report anonymously, however remember that we are an external reporting option, so you can be confident that where you provide your contact details to us we will not divulge your identity to your employer organisation without your consent
